The Circle of Twelve
The Circle was the governing body of Crossroad City. The twelve most powerful wizards held their positions for life unless they were bested by a peer. They were responsible for running the city, enacting its laws and overseeing its day to day growth. Prior to its Crossroad City’s fall, The Twelve came under fire fueled by the subversive group C.A.G. The group, headed by a disguised Virgil the Martyr, claimed the wizards were drunk with power and cared more for the games held in the Coliseum than the city’s well-being.
At the time of the Fall of Crossroad City, Gerald Radcliffe (father of Nathan Radcliffe), held the title of Grand Wizard.
